Davood Ghadami (born 1982) is an English actor, best known for his role as Kush Kazemi in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' from 2014 onwards. He is a British Iranian. == Life and career == Ghadami was born in Harlow, Essex, England. He is a leading actor and was perhaps previously best known as series regular Duncan Clark in ''Taggart''. Other notable television credits include ''Life's Too Short'', ''Law & Order'', ''Skins Redux'', ''Doctor Who'', ''Top Boy'', ''Fast Freddie'', ''Silent Witness'', ''Criminal Justice'' and ''Spooks''. His film credits include ''John Carter'' for Disney, ''Shop Girl'' for Bwark Productions, ''Red Mercury'', ''Extraordinary Rendition'' and most recently ''Survivor'' directed by James McTeigue. On stage he most recently played Amir in ''13'' at The National, as well as working extensively for York Theatre Royal and Pilot Theatre.
